Having matched a good bit of Keenan last year... he is not a good player at this point in his career.
He had a QB that couldn't find him and was known for completely missing reads to the point he had a receiver run a route straight to the bench cause the receiver had checked out mentally. I'm not so sure his time with the Bears shows anything about his ability at this point in his career.

Idk I watched a good amount of Bears games. 10% drop rate and really struggled to get open.

He is not the Keenan Allen of the past anymore.

How cheap could we get Steff Diggs on a one year deal? I mean, I'm not here for a long time. I'm here for a good time.

I don't retreat players coming here, the Saints gotta find ways to develop the offensive talent they have and whatever other offensive players they might draft.

Signing old past thier prime players will do nothing to develop this team and just keep younger players on the bench.

on 121 targets he dropped 6 passes. That is 5%. That means out of 115 remaining targets, he caught 70 balls. That is 45 passes that completely missed him, almost 40% of his targets were Off target. I'm willing to completely ignore his time with the Bears.

I'm seeing 8 drops. 10.1 % was wrong (that was from december).

45 passes do not completely miss him.

You can choose to ignore all you want. He is not a good WR at this point in his career.

I get it, but he still had 70 catches for 744 yards last year which would have made him by far #1 in receiving yards on the Saints. He's not a great player anymore but we could really use 70 catches and 700 yards on this team. Especially from a guy that can play the X. I wouldn't go past one year, but it would be a good signing on a one year deal.

Honestly the stats aren't quite that relevant.(PFReference has 6 drops) If we plan to draft say, Tet, who do you want him learning from? Cedric Wilson or Keenan Allen?
