Back in 2008 - 2010, did any of y'all buy the Who Dat? wine or the World Champions champagne?

I still have my bottles. Only the champagne is unopened; I don't like champagne. These were a custom labels of Martin Wine Cellar, who had a license to use the Who Dat? label. The wines are California Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. They also has a Merlot and White Zinfandel n 2008 but I missed out on those.

I remember some newspaper columnist (can't remember who it was now) wrote about how he opened his Who Dat wine bottle just last year after X number of years. Might have been one of the T-P's non-sports guys.

Though well kept, I'm afraid it's a goner...Gridiron Cellars ain't DRC.

It's been blocked in the racking until a recent re-org, when aha!, followed by uh-oh!

Will open it during Superb Owl halftime and bump the thread if it's palatable.

I have the champagne, still unopened. I'm doubtful if it's still any good as it wasn't stored in ideal conditions I suppose.

Mrs. B is working on a wine project. It won't be cheap wine this time....at least I don't think so. She spent some time in Napa working on the project last year. She accommodated the Pelicans to the Bay Area and made the trip to Napa for meetings, planning, etc.

The previous bottlings were not affiliated with the Saints organization.

I have one one of those Drew Brees bottles. Also a Bobby Hebert cab. I bought 2 each when they came out.
The Brees chard wasn’t good when it was fresh. Aging that another 12 years will not improve it, whatever conditions it was stored under.
The Hebert cab was good. Doubt it was supposed to wait this long, but I’m still not opening it.

I remember opening up a bottle of the Who Dat Champagne in 2010. Think it was the morning of the Super Bowl!
