This article got me to thinking about this. I think it's gotta be Derek Carr, because QB is the most important position on any NFL team. This is dependent on him having a great year of course. If he flounders, or plays like he did last year, then no. My other choice is Chris olave. I think he will have a huge year.

If we win the South I believe that Derek Carr will be the catalyst so my vote goes to him. MT is also a strong candidate if he can stay healthy all year. On defense we need Davis to continue to lead that unit and if we can stay top 5 - 8 in total defense Davis should be the guy to consider as well.

I also think it could be one of the new dt's. We dropped to 24'th against the run last year. If one of the top 3 dt's we brought in really stands out, they could take it

If your team MVP isnt your QB, you probably didnt have a lot of wins. Unless your RB is Derrick Henry, or your LB is Ray Lewis.
