I keep forgetting with the wacky preseason format that cutdown day to 53 is this upcoming Tuesday. Obviously the team has locks for the 53 and locks to be released. But who's on the bubble? Which players can make the 53 with a good performance on Sunday or lose their chance with a poor performance?

I think Saldiveri is pretty safe. He looks like a good draft pick. I'd like to see more of Lalos.
We really need a backup for for Ram. That knee must be pretty bad.

At WR, I feel like Perry and Kirkwood are very likely to stick, though as others have mentioned, we typically feel comfortable getting Kirkwood back and forth to the PS. I hope that Davis has done enough to merit a roster spot, but we've seen this dance in the preseason before... guys looks like a potential star in the preseason and we bounce them back and forth.

I think Saldiveri's draft slot and positional versatility will either guarantee him a spot or have him develop a mysterious injury (IR.)

I like the rest of your list and agree about their bubble status

Kirk Merritt isn’t really even considered to be “on the bubble” but I would still like to see him land on the Practice Squad.

Question… Do you think Kendre Miller will change his jersey number to his TCU #33 once Merritt sees the Turk?

Tre'Quan Smith is sitting on a bubble the size of Manhattan. Perry, Kirkwood, and Davis have all made strong cases for a roster spot while Smith has been MIA.

Alontae Taylor beat out Paulson Adebo as a rookie throughout all of last season, so did Taylor get worse from last season or did Adebo get better?

Everybody seems to think J.T Gray is a lock to make the team. I am not so sure. I would not be surprised he is a surprise cut. J.T has been a special teams ace, but very limited as a Safety. With players such as Amadi, Lonnie Jonhson, Howden & Johnny Abrams all able to play ST, plus safety makes them more valuable to the team being able to play S.T's and a position & something the Saints value.

Inclined to agree. He played early in both games, produced and was fairly quickly pulled. That makes me think they were quite happy with what they saw and didn't feel they needed to risk injury.

Good points but didn’t JT just sign a multi year extension? Seems that would make for some dead money…guess our FO has shown they don’t really care about that tho lol.

Adebo never got benched for Taylor last year. Taylor played a lot because both Lattimore and Adebo missed time.
