As Saints fans , we all want what is best for the team.

Me, I used to want the Saints to win all the time, even in the 80's and 90's when there is no hope for playoffs.

However after this season and seeing how horrible the coaching staff is , I have changed my mind.

My reason, I wanted to give Dennis Allen the benefit of the doubt, but after 2 years , I can't see him guiding this team to the promise land.

He is given a talented team, an easy schedule and produced this awful product.

This upcoming draft is the time to have a high draft pick with a potential franchise QB.

As much as it pains me, I want the Saints to lose out ( except the Falcons)

Fire the coaches and get one of those QBs to sit a year behind Carr. ( Let him get beat up while we go thru the pains of reducing salary cap)

I fear DA will get a couple of wins and ruin our chances at one of the QBs,

We will still miss out on winning season and playoffs but will also get a crappy pick.
That is my reason for us to lose out.

I love this team too much for several more years of mediocrity.

Yes I know there's a chance we'll get another bad coach and/or the pick won't pan out, but I rather take that chance then one another year of Dennis Allen.

So my question is who wants that or who wants them to win out?

By right around my late 20s I fully realized that what you pull for/root for has ZERO bearing on anything. It's best to try and take whatever enjoyment you can from the games. If it's playing OK, developing some younger guys but still losing--and thus gaining better draft capital and ensuring we can this staff, then so be it. Nobody around the org is tanking and it's really hard to achieve in general anyway.

I want Jameis to turn into 2017 Nick Foles. High draft picks mean nothing.
It means absolutely EVERYTHING this season, IF you are replacing DA and his staff. While there are some good pieces to the puzzle here, there are not a ton of players that will entice a new coach to choose New Orleans. We also have salary cap issues.

A high draft pick, particularly a top 10 pick, would be extremely enticing to a new head coach when he is getting to choose his future at QB.
