Why do we have Mark Romig? Went to my first game in a few yrs. Poor Mark Romig could NOT be heard due to the BLARING awful music played by the DJ from the time the play stopped to the the snap of the next play. Couldn't hear anything he said. Not who caught/ carried the ball nor who made the tackle or anything that was happening on the field. Except when he YELLED "It's 3rrrrrrrrrrd Down" That DJ was so annoying. Please stop! and let Mark Romig do his JOB

It the Dome sound system that needs a upgrade. I don’t know if it’s on the $400 million dollar renovation list. On that note I miss the 40 burger, Get Crunk days!

Did the even do The Who Dat chant last night? Play Get Crunk? Seems like it was lots of Mannie Fresh and Metallica last night.

I saw on IG the Who Dat chant was started by Will Lutz.

Ain't nothing wrong with the music. Roming is awesome PA announcer

Move dem chains was marketing from a bank. We thought it was dumb but they persisted with it so we started participating in irony.
Oh well

I agree 100% with the OP. It's probably not that the system needs upgrading but a common problem with most crappy DJs/PA guys is having good volume leveling/control. Such a simple thing, yeah, your system can probably can get ridiculously loud, but at those levels it just sounds like hot garbage. You get distortion and there's just no need to try make your audience's ears bleed. It's been unbearable at times because whoever runs the sound over there at the Dome is not very good at their job.

Im pretty sure if you shake your cane at the nearest speaker, the sound will turn down
You should not assume. I was a rock musician for 30 yrs and have no problem with loud music. I just don't want it going from the end of play whistle to the snap of the ball. AND I'd like to hear who made the catch or tackle or other info about what's going on

The sound system is in desperate need of an upgrade. If you listen closely the bass frequencies are out of sync and way behind the music and high and mid frequencies (hi-hat, snare, ect).

As for music going stop to start of each play, stadium music by NFL rule has to cease with :20 on the play clock.
