McCarthy has a very justified reason to say hey mickey, i'm at least worth Payton money compared to these unproven puppies demanding 13 + million.

Mickey does have a job to win but also spend Mrs. B's money wisely.

Neither are known as being cheap in any way.

But McCarthy demanding X amount per year and you have a Joe Brady/Mike Kafka/Kellen Moore at say 10 mill per year... could that be an enticing factor to "go young". Will Mike's justified "greed" kill a deal?

I would think that Loomis would realize that he would cost Mrs. Benson more money by making the wrong hire than paying more for the right hire. So, I think he will hire the guy that he thinks is the best HC.

If money becomes the issue, and I don't think it will, Rizzi would easily be the cheapest option.

No. Gayle has shown she will spend anything and everything it takes. We are how much over the salary cap? You don’t get that way by being cheap. Say what you will about Loomis, but we have a fantastic owner. The checkbook is always open, she doesn’t meddle, she lets football people make whatever decisions they see as best and she funds them. Heck, they did a survey league wide about everything about every team from the players perspective. We reallly only ranked low on our cafeteria. Guess what got a multimillion dollar upgrade almost instantly? Yeah. Money is nowhere near object for Gayle.
