I'm in a league where we have about 15 reserves. I know, it's over the top but that's how they have been running this particular league (my first year participating).

We also have the potential to play 2 QBs, one is mandatory, the other is part of a flex. It's a high scoring league, typically ranging from 160 points to as much as 250 on a great week.

My opponent in the championship next week has Aaron Rodgers, Christian Ponder and Sam Bradford. There is a decent likelihood that not one of those 3 QBs see the field next week, hurting his chances severely at beating me. I have Brady and Roethlisberger (and Dalton or Alex Smith if need be). My opponent has been the best team in this league point wise, so he's got a lot of weapons on his team.

My opponent is oblivious to the fact that Rodgers could be sat down totally without taking a single snap.

If you had the ability to drop about 4 or 5 players that you know weren't going to factor anything significant point wise next week, would you go snag all the remaining available QBs up so your opponent is screwed? The players are not locked out and can be picked up at any time (typical yahoo league).

I wouldn't. If he has no clue, that's on him, but at least you gave him a fair opportunity to compete. At worst, I'd pick up the best option limiting him to lesser quality players, but still give him the chance to make it interesting...
