Microsoft is ending support for Windows 10 on 10/14/2025.
You will have 3 choices:
Upgrade to Windows11 if your PC is compatible...
Use Windows 10 without Microsoft's support or security updates.
Switch to a different Operating System.
I don't care for Windows 11 & I'm fairly competent using Linux.
Linux has many different distributions & different desktops.
Gnome, KDE Plasma, & Cinnamon desktops are the best in my opinion.
Cinnamon is the most Windows 10 like of the desktops.
Gnome is probably the most popular but it is resource heavy he & runs slower.
I am a long time Linux Mint user because it is one of the easiest Linux's to switch from Windows to Linux.
Zorin is another distribution that is very Windows like & it works well.
Recently I decided to try Ubuntu with the Gnome, then KDE Plasma, & then the Cinnamon desktops.
Ubuntu did not offer the stability & reliability of Linux Mint with the Cinnamon desktop.
I tried Arch-Linux & had the same result as Ubuntu.
I also tried Fedora with a couple their different spins, KDE Plasma, & Cinnamon.
It was as stable & reliable as Linux Mint, I am just use to using the Debian based command line.
Which like Microsoft, you don't have to use if you don't want to use.
Debian is also extremely reliable but Linux Mint is easier to install.
A couple of screen shots from my Desktop.
As you can see it is very Windows 10-like.
