Since DA is afraid to use Winston why not trade him and a mid round pick to Minn for Hunter?

See last season.DA is afraid to use Winston? explain this logic.....
But we have Derek Carr THIS season and drafted a QB.See last season.
Dude, your obsessive hatred for the guy is beyond meme quality at this point.Dobbs... LMAO... The only place JW has value is on this forum... and it's comedic.

Exactly. I want Taysom getting all of his snaps on offense and under center. Without Taysom, our offense becomes a lot worse than we want to admit. He is too valuable to be relegated to the sideline as a backup.Understand that w/o a very competent QB2 like Jameis, Taysom becomes our QB2/3. That means a HUGE part of our offense gets relegated to clipboard holding.
Stop with logic.I just don’t understand how so many Saints fans continue to reject logic, when it comes to Jameis’s value as our QB2. Many were begging for us to try and trade the guy, while also drooling over us finally getting Taysom/AK packages rolling in the red zone. DA would never allow Haener, a ROOKIE who’s missed 6 weeks, to be our backup QB. Jameis is top value to us, b/c he frees up Taysom to be another X factor. He’s also a superb teammate and leader in the locker room. He’s an energy guy with the type of character/personality you need around if/when morale dips. Had we traded him the possibility of finally getting our offense in gear would’ve diminished greatly.
We need Jameis on that sideline in his role, so Taysom can continue thriving in his. Good for the front office for not trying to move him.
Nailed it. Although it would not be ideal to have Winston as the starter, what you mentioned is exactly why he has value specifically for the Saints.I just don’t understand how so many Saints fans continue to reject logic, when it comes to Jameis’s value as our QB2.
