I was just wondering as I have been to both pre season games and when the announcer introduces the saints he just says welcome your New Orleans Saints. Why doesnt he say your WORLD CHAMPION NEW ORLEANS SAINTS? Maybe he is waiting for the regular season?

I can't even translate how amped up things will be opening night. Can you imagine the unfurling of the World Championship Banner, the announcing of the team entrance and Drew leading the World Champions on to the field. While I suspect the use of World Champion is being saved by the PA announcer for the 9th, it won't make any difference as the Dome could not get more emotional!
Lets see an Opening Day big, going away, WIN by our Saints, supported by the best fans in the NFL and a clear message to the rest of the NFL that the road to the Superbowl in Dallas still goes thru New Orleans.
