First career sack of Baun’s 4 year career comes in Week 13 of his 4th year. He could’ve average at least 4-6 sacks per year for our weak pass rush if Saints HC and DC utilized him, at what he was best at in college, from a blitzing LB position in our defense, instead of a sideline to sideline coverage LB covering TEs. He’ll likely receive interest from 3-4 scheme teams in March when he becomes an UFA.

Could've been doing this from day one, but nooooooo...let's take a pass rush specialist who was going in the first round in some mocks and try to turn him into an off-ball LB. Base LBs with Werner out needs to be DD and Sewell and bring Baun in as a fifth rusher and let him go to work.

This year was a gift from God to make the playoffs and this staff ruined it. What they've done should have seen them fired weeks ago. Saints honestly could've have fixed this at the bye. I'm ready for everyone that's complicit in this to go, including Gayle.
