Going over the Cowboys games and they’re pretty much Zeke Elliot and Amari Cooper. Elliot is the guy though. I say we spy him with Davis like we did with Gurley in the Rams game. Put Lattimore on Cooper and force Dak Prescott to beat us with other receivers. I think we matchup well against Dallas. Washington gifted them 21 of their 31 points on Thanksgiving. We need to go in, get up on them, and get out with a win and no major injuries. Take a ten day rest and start the last quarter of the season. Limiting Elliot is the key.

Zeke 16 carries, 52 yards

Dak won't be able to save them.

Cooper 2 catches, 19 yards.

Are you playing in the game?

The cowboys offense was saved with the addition of Cooper as he's provided an outside threat that makes things easier for the second tier WRs and opens up things for Elliot in the run game.

They are better offensively because of Cooper, I still see it as a win but I think your missing the point of what his addition did overall to the offense...he legitimized it.

I don’t think he’s dismissing Cooper, he credited him as being the other punch that goes with Zeke. But he’s saying we have the luxury of putting Lattimore on him (with Marcus in support if necessary) - and make Dak beat you elsewhere.

That sounds right to me. Or we could do the same as with Julio (Eli + Marcus) because Shon can handle the other side alone.

SuperChuck is on point.
We have the perfect neutralizer for Amari: Marshon Lattimore.

:gosaints:

If we can jump out to an early lead, it should help to take Zeke out of the equation.

How are they going to react when we are up 21-7 or 28-10 by half time? At some point, teams are going to stop giving up the run against us because they'll figure out that doing so means you're pretty much in our defensive trap. Maybe the Cowboys will not give up the run in that circumstance. Then again, keep running it because we've certainly shown we can stop the best runners in the game.

Cooper’s is overrated! He won’t do squat against the saints.

Thing is Zeke is running behind a good line, but our DLine is playing lights out right now. Our DTs force action. Jordan and Davenport aren’t going to let Dax run all that much. Treat him the same way they do Newton. Crush the pocket to make him super uncomfortable, while keeping gap integrity. With a guy like those two the pressure and hurry is better than risking a lane to get a sack. Bottle him up and let him make mistakes n

Lattimore on Cooper I'm confident in that match up. #11 Cole Beasley is a shifty, slot receiver, runs good routes him on PJ Williams is the match up that concerns me a bit, but overall the Secondary is communicating much, much better than earlier in the season and they are playing confident.

Dallas' O-line protection has been very up and down re-watching their games against Carolina, Seattle, first Washington game and Dak is getting pressured, hit, sacked on a lot of passing downs. They are going to have to have a plan for Cam, Rankins, and if Davenport gets some burst back coming off the toe watch out.
