Agree and I’d put Murphy in there, too.If the top 4 OT are gone, then I don’t want to settle for Fauntanu. Mitchell, Latu, and Bowers are BPA.
Not to mention next year's first could realistically be a top 10.I'll take Bowers anyday. My worst fear is the Saints will move up in the draft and forgo next years first round pick. PLEASE NO. This Saints are not there yet for a good playoff run so I would like for them to build back the team through the draft.
I'd love Bowers and then a move up for Fautanu who may slide due to medicals. If the top 4 OT are gone, then I don’t want to settle for Fauntanu. Mitchell, Latu, and Bowers are BPA.
His size is similar (within an inch and 5lbs of each other when drafted) to George Kittle, Sam Laporta, Dalton Kincaid, Trey Mcbride, David Njoku and Evan Engram. That is 6 of last years top 10 receiving leaders at TE. Size won't be an issue for him in the NFL. He's a better prospect than any of those guys were coming into the league as well. How exactly does Bowers fit in the NFL? He's much smaller than Kelce, Kittle, etc. If he projects as a WR-tweener then his success will be highly dependent on an OC who creates matchups a la Payton. Do we have the creativity to put him to use? If not then we are better off with a simple big man for the trenches...
