It sounds very similar to the long rumored "30 Candles" that was supposedly being shopped around Hollywood a few years ago. It was supposed to be the sequel to "16 Candles" and was going to star Molly Ringwald as the same character now struggling with her 30th birthday. Apparently the studios passed.......

As far as I'm concerned, there weren't any sequels to The Matrix. There were these two extra movies kinda set in the same universe committing blatant plagiarism, but they weren't sequels. Because the first was just so good, there's no way it could've spawned those other two steaming turds.
