superman returns was really boring, man i just expected so much more

It was because of Singer's "vision." Instead of pitting Superman against some great foe, he decided to have Superman deal with the inner struggle of coming back to a girl who has moved on and had a kid with someone else. He didn't even fight anybody in the whole movie!

The first was a theatrical masterpiece and the second was, well, not so much...

Die Hard II was pretty bad, but nothing tops The Matrix for whetting your appetite with a great movie then simply ending it, two excruciatingly long movies later with "Huh? What was that?".

I have to disagree with the OP on Back to the Future 2 and on Bill & Teds Bogus Journey. I liked both much more than the originals. Maybe its just me. Love those flicks.

Bad Boys 2
The first was funny and fun, the sequel... unwatchable.

I though bad boys 2 was awesome, but I do like dumb action movies that go BOOM!

Hills Have Eyes 2 the remake: that was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Mortal Kombat 2: the first was decent, this one was unwatchable.

Halloween 3: it had nothing to do with Micheal Meyers, lame!

Chariots of Fire III and IV did not live up to the first 2. Old yeller vs. Cujo was not a complete turd but didn't really live up to the hype.

Rocky VII will suck. As will Rocky VIII. Go see them if you want, but they're gonna suck so don't start a thread complaining, because I warned you years earlier.
