Yeah I know he's an LSU guy and all but I'm sorry the guy talks too much and has nothing of importance to add to the game,
He repeats himself on multiple occasions as if no one already heard him.

He's ok. I like some of the Xs and Os stuff he does, but in other ways he's too cliched and he doesn't have a great delivery. When he said, during the 3rd quarter, that the Saints might actually compete with Philadelphia (who are 2-3) after this game, I was like..."wuttt?"

Witten actually has a good delivery but he's so freaking stiff, if that makes sense.

I thought the entire MNF crew was not that great...The lead guy is pretty good, but Whitten and Booger, meh...I still like Deuce on WWL...but, unless the Saints are on MNF again, I will not watch it again all year.

They went from gruden, who was awesome, to witten who is just flat. I mean he’s bad. Someone owed Witten a big favor.

Without Booger, and I know he talks a lot, it’s a real snoozefest. I actually like Booger and appreciate his insight. I think he ought to be in the booth instead of Witten.

people seems to believe that this stuff is easy
there's individual performance to pay attention to and then there's group chemistry
Booger is used somewhere between 2nd color analyst and a sideline reporter
it's not consistent enough to get a rhythm but not sparse enough that he's just stringing together 10 second moment
there's also no rehearsal for this
it's all on the job training and it takes time

Anyone else notice his narrative changed from in the beginning “ they got to get after this saints secondary who give up nuclear plays, no excuse for not going down field”

To hear end of 3rd

“This saints team has the talent and ability to be contenders, the way this defence has cleaned up today”

I don’t know, I think he and Witten could swap seats and nobody would be able to tell the difference, but I think that it’s all about looks. Witten looks fit and more attractive so the tv wants to see him, but Booger has some insight that should keep his opinion relevant. It’s jacked up, but that’s show bizz baby.

One thing I do know is that we have fallen a long way from Al Michaels and John Madden.

I've seen a lot of people complain about Booger during that game...on multiple fan forums...

To his credit, he wasn't lying when he made that statement at the start of the game and after their performance last night, his late-game statement was also on point.

Did they give Booger the green light to just talk as much as he wants? I can't remember a down on the field guy ever talking this much. Booger is more like the color guy and Witten is just some dude who says things sometimes.

Agreed but he’s the best of that crew.
If I was on that crew I’d use my motorized thingy to carry me far far away from the rest of em.

I’d be fine never hearing him speak again.

Why does he need that hanging hoveround? It’s a pretty lame gimmick that I’m sure does nothing but block the view for some in the expensive seats.
