With the exception of Harris we are going into the season with the exact same receivers as last year. They better improve by leaps and bounds.

Oh, I'm sure your words will make SP and staff shiver....I think you need to have a little faith and realize that the coaching staff is pretty good at evaluating WR talent...

Not worried about those two. It’s the potential in Humphries and Butler that will be lost to keep an injured Kirkwood and Carr that is troubling.

Troubling to you maybe....I was wee bit surprised Butler didn't make the 53 and will be genuinely surprised if he is not on the PS....but other than that? Not really so surprising....

Question! NOLA reports that Granderson has been reinstated. Does that mean he is counted on the active roster or do the Saints have to do something to move him either to the active roster or cut him so he can go thru waivers!

I liked the young talent, they brought them all in for a reason. After Thomas was doubled and Ginn got injured our offense took a nose dive. Cook will help a lot, but now we have only Hill behind him. I know we’ll make a lot of moves in the next few days just disappointed one of the young guys didn’t stick. I can’t see them making it through waivers, but maybe.

Butler is a huge surprise if what the coaches were reported to be saying about him was true. You wouldn't cut a once in a decade UDFA unless you're an outright liar, or an idiot. I'm more inclined to believe the reporter was exaggerating.

Exempt / Commisioner's Permission... whatever that means. probably doesn't count against the roster ATM... just a guess

He’s a “roster exemption” - so we can carry him as exempt under the commissioner’s exempt rule. I don’t think he can practice but not sure.

Our offense taking a nose dive had much more to do with Armstead getting injured....I think Butler will be on the PS and may see the field if we have injuries....but the notion that either would make the team over Kirkwood I thought was ridiculous, for once at least I was right....hopefully he is healthy enough to prove me right on his production this year....

Very shocked to see not just Ozigbo, but also Butler and Humphries released. Butler had those key drops including one off his face mask, all Humphries did was beast out every time he touched the ball. I doubt Ozigbo makes it to the Practice Squad, hope I'm wrong.

Do we only have 2 tight ends? Or did we keep Garrett Griffin? Arnold has only gotten better & better. I liked what I saw in Derby. I wish I could of seen more of Mack, but supposedly he wasn’t all that great in practice. Griffin would of been the last guy I would of kept LOL

Who is our backup tackle?

I hope we don’t regret cutting Butler. That kid has talent with a good head on his shoulders. I haven’t been this mad by a cut in a long time...
