So, my Mom lives in Finland now and her and her new husband are flying in and will be here for the Falcons game. I got us some tickets and will be bringing the Fin to see his 1st NFL game and show him why Mom and I are so emotionally involved with the World Champion New Orleans Saints!

Has anyone been to the VIP tailgate thing from Bullseye event group? It's advertised on WWL all the time. I think it's like $85 ea. and includes drinks/food before the game. Anyone done this yet? They are big foodies... how is the spread? Thanks ...

I've never been to that VIP tailgating... but I had to comment on how cool to have your folks coming here to see a game! It should be a great divisional contest for them to enjoy and hopefully they will also get around town for other pre & post game festivities! Y'all have a great time! :9:

Thanks Bill! Yeah, my Mom is a die hard Saints fan and met her (now) husband on a European cruise 8 years ago, got married 5 years ago and moved to Finland. So, they only get to come in every couple of years. The last time they came down here was when we flooded up here in Ponchatoula in '16. They were literally in the air on the way in and had no idea we were about to be flooded. So, hopefully we can have a little fun this time!

I set up a chair in the middle of my living room on Sundays and stream the game via Facebook messenger so she can still watch our Saints! Works really well... we even get to cheer and yell at the TV just like we used to!

I haven’t participated in the Bullseye/VIP tailgate, but apparently it only lasts 3 hours so unless each person can eat/drink $85 worth of food and booze in those 3 hours, I wouldn’t say it’s worth the coin.

But if money isn’t a concern they have at it! Let us know how it goes.

Yeah, that's why I want to hear from someone who has been before.

Apparently they have celebrity chefs.. so, I have no problem paying that if it's really good food, top shelf drinks etc. Between the three of us.. yeah, if that's the case.. we will get our $$$'s worth! :hihi:

That's so cool! I'm glad y'all get to share the football season together!

My Mom is also a Saints fan! And she lives in Ponchatoula!
Tell my Mom hello when you see her!

On Steve Korte's pregame show, a rep from Bullseye was obviously talking it up in an interview. It's run by a national company out of Indianapolis. I don't recall the specifics, but I came away feeling it wasn't worth the fee. Maybe if you want to get out oppressive heat in Champs Square, but it's finally starting to cool a little. The make or break for me would be the food. If it's a basic menu that they use at all of their locations, I'll pass. Take in some of the local cuisine instead.

Yeah, for sure.. it's all about the menu. It'll be Nov 10 .. so weather should be perfect

I have enough fun just walking around with a drink in hand and taking in the sights and sounds. Nothing beyond that is really necessary, but if your folks want a more stable/less mobile situation, then maybe find a cool bar near the dome. There are plenty! Haha.

Thank you, but we are from New Orleans and are well versed in the bars/restaurants around the city. I am just wanting a review from someone who has done this specific VIP thing!

Apparently nobody on here has tried the VIP tailgate, and if SR readers haven't done it, who has? On the other hand, maybe its not very crowded!

I've always wondered if it was any good and I'm still waiting on somebody to respond to the OP who has actually been.
