I'm not saying Clemson isn't a good team, but their best wins were against aTm and USCe, right? Knowing they play in a basketball conference, why don't they schedule a big boy out of conference game?
schedules are made 7 years in advance

jmho, but they'll drop to 3. The real ? for the committe is do you vote Wisconsin in over Oklahoma?

I doubt it. Wisconsin having 2 losses is tough to get past. I mean, a ton of teams have 2 losses. Of course, none can claim a win over OSU. I just don't see the committee moving them ahead of OU. Top 4 if OSU loses, LSU, Clemson, OSU, OU. If that's the order then LSU gets OU and Clemson gets OSU.

If OSU comes back and wins, top 4 will be LSU, OSU, Clemson, OU.

I had this same thought today. It would be cold IMO, but I don't care much for Oklahoma so I wouldn't lose sleep.

Exactly. The big boys in the SEC have been the same for the past 7 years. aTm and USCe haven't been a powerhouse in the past seven years. Put Bammer or LSU or Georgia or Florida etc on your schedule if you don't wanna cry like a birch in front of national media about how "everyone wants to keep you out of the playoff."

I dont give a flying fart if Ohio St comes back. There should be no more discussion...LSU is clearly #1
So you're saying they didn't study for the eyetest?

LSU has already scheduled a home and home with Oklahoma in 2027 and 2028. The players in those games are in elementary school
And Oklahoma has been the cream of the crop in the Big XII for decades now.

Regardless, we really need an 8 team playoffs. Then both OU and Wisconsin get in.

But then, of course Bammer would find a way in too. Heh.

Agreed. If Div. II can run a playoff system the way they do, there's no reason why the FBS can't do the same.

Went to get something to eat, looks like I missed a good first half.
