What is the strangest place you have ever been?

When I was 13 and moved to Florida, I recall the strangest sensation at the grocery store when I realized they didn't have liquor.

Other than that, I once went to a party in ATL where they had Falcons fans, but that was more gross than weird.

Growing up, we had champion roosters. We would go to palenques (that's the arena where the cockfights happen). Big money gambled there. My dad made a lot of money. He kept the roosters in Cuba, and would fly them over when it was time.

It's sad ... I didn't like it. Don't like watching humans force animals to fight. If it happens in nature, it's fine...circle of life....but don't like it being forced.

Going to a bullfight in San Miguel Allende in Mexico made me feel the same way. The only and last time I've been to one.

I'm calling shenanigans on this! There is no way that roosters can fly that far. They can barely fly more than a few meters, much less fly over from Cuba.

ok some mini strange/weird things

3 floor walk-up in Williamsburg that was just some space used for an 'event dinner' - seats were behind tables arranged in a square, there was a massage table in the middle. videos of puppies/kittens (more nature doc than animal planet cuteness)
after the 2nd of 4 courses, a masseuse and 'client' come out and do a massage
that's it

tiny chapel in rome with all walls covered in the bones of former clergy

hip hop club in tokyo playing bootleg (clean) 80s hip hop and it's just me and 2 jaopnese kids working on their break dancing moves
