can anyone give me one good reason that these drive thrus could not be combined? Who would not want a daquiri while doing the test.

I miss old Jax Dax. Where I could drive up with my learners permit and get two large with extra shots of everlear without a blink of an eye. Probably no virus could have got to me in that blood alcohol level.

why are we in the SSF with this lol OP if it makes you feel any better, people in New Orleans miss New Orleans right now too.
 
I live here and I miss it BADLY. My parents always have a huge crawfish boil the Friday before Palm Sunday (today). I always boil the crawfish and our whole family goes plus friends, around 75-100 people normally. Not on Good Friday because being a strict Catholic you don’t have a party on that day (my mom, lol). Everyone brings a bunch of booze and we drink the night away on the back porch laughing and telling stories. Of course it’s not happening this year.

I know people are suffering badly and I consider myself lucky but I need a return to normalcy soon.

When I moved away 35 years ago they had drive thru daquiri stores. That was before the open container laws. I know they had to pass it because idiots would actually get drunk while driving. Gotta admit I miss the freedom of those days when I could enjoy a beer on the drive home though.

my friend's dad had a big ol truck. he'd drive with an igloo filled with beer in the seat next to him
when he finished one, the empty would get tossed into the bed of the truck (often while we were back there)

Dude.

My Tulane pal (responsible for Tulanes drive thru test sites) called me about an hour ago and no lie, said he abt to order 2 daiquiri machines to set up at each site. He was joking buy serious... Pina colada and jungle juice. Lololll

Was this on WWL or something??
