He's not saying anything that no one knows or that isn't obvious. This sounds more like a case of "if the show fits".

Say what y'all want but this is now our third time in seven seasons we've had a quality WR that the fans somehow place all the blame on for attitude issues. Not necessarily taking up for MT, but he didn’t say Drew sucked. He was more or less stating what all the pundits and a lot of Saints fans have been saying since late 2018 - i.e. that teams have not respected Drew’s ability to push the ball down the field.

You have to give Payton and Brees a lot of credit for having so much offensive success the past few years without being able to throw deep, but obviously, playoff caliber teams are able to stop our “half court” offense.
