Young couple goes on van tour of US, boy comes back with van - no girl (1 Viewer)

Some people on u tube are SURE he's in Cuba.

No, we just drove to where it got hilly and then went north. lol Yes, we drove to Denver, visited that area a day or 2 and eventually drove further west through Vail and south on the Million Dollar Highway through Ouray and Durango. So, yeah, western Colorado is amazeballs; but it's just that the Eastern part is my deal breaker for Most Beautiful State.

Makes sense. They might own a boat, or a family friend that just happened to be going to Cuba, so Brian needed to go on vacation, since he was exhausted from being on vacation for the last two months.

Hey, didn't even think about it, this is a Florida Man thing.

Here we go. Technically they both are originally from New York, so don't blame Florida for this. Not taking in Brian in custody earlier maybe, but these two are from the Long Island, New York area?!?!

Time to call the dog.

Not sure why the back of my brain keeps waiting for the couple to start posting on her blog from random places along their long trip without contacting anyone else. I know it is not likely but they would blow up a following of epic proportion on the blog and social. I mean, they would be set for life from a stunt like that and I'm not even sure either has done anything illegal.

The police stop in Arizona two weeks prior makes that a tough sell.

Utah. But yeah, I already started thinking about the Balloon boy hoax

I wouldn't choose Utah for golf, or even skiing. But Utah is fantastic for:

Hiking
Rock climbing
Mountain biking
Dirt biking
4 wheeling (ATV's or 4x4's)
House-boating (Lake Powell)

Or, just generally amazing high desert scenery. And if you're into canyoneering, what Utah has to offer cannot be matched anywhere in the world.

That would be wild, and could even theoretically go down like that.

I just can't imagine LE doesn't at least has her cell pings served on a warrant to the cellular company. Once she's an official missing person, I think that's probably enough to get that info (though I don't actually know). But with all of the interstate issues here it could possibly be more complicated than it may seem

His are more difficult, I think, if a judge has a more restrictive view of probable cause - but hers should be available.

Only desert area I've been to is Arizona. I started to understand why all those cowboy movies are depressing and everyone tried to kill each other.

What part of Arizona? Southern AZ (Phoenix, etc.) can be kind of boring, although the Seguro cactus are cool. Did you ever get to Sedona? Awesome.

Northern Arizona is amazing - you can get to Grand Canyon NP from there. I don't find northern AZ or southern UT depressing at all. It's inspiring and exhilarating to me. And Utah has, let's see.... 1, 2, 3 ,4, 5!! national parks. They're national parks for a reason.

Cross those salt flats in Utah once, you will say this is cool, 2,3,4,5,6 times…..Utah sucks, no matter how those National Parks looked all you will remember is this place sucks.

Mostly Phoenix area, but also up to the mountains around Payson. We were supposed to drive to the Grand Canyon, but one of the kids had an ear infection that got worse as were were driving north..... Made it to freaking flagstaff. I'm actually still salty about this.

We ended up driving south to Sedona to catch the sunset. Very pretty. I liked that spot. There was some canyon I drove down north of there, I think. Like a hairpin turn.

Also spent a day at Lake Roosevelt. That was ok. I just miss Green stuff. All that brown rock and hot dry weather..

Cash and a prepaid burner using a VPN is all it would take.

Puerto Rico has some salt flats. And mountains. And green. And Ocean beaches. And hot girls. And Rum. I'll pick that.

To paraphrase Thanos, it's teeming with life.

Assuming he's smart enough to spoof.

But, in any case, she did have her phone on her at some point, and did talk to her mom. They can ping that phone.
