Dennis Allen is as much to blame as Lattimore. In a situation like that you do NOT let the other teams best player beat you. Don’t put any DB out on an island like that without help. If somebody else beats you, so be it.

No you blame DA! He has over 100 yards before that catch, and you still don’t double him. At least out a safety over the top.

Eagles played him a lot differently, there was plenty of bracket coverage and Slay did the rest being VERY physical with him and Jefferson couldn't provide the answer to that. Lattimore is all about technique, he's one of the best with that, but not necessarily a physical corner.

1) I've said this before and I'll say it again, I think a lot of us forgot just how long we went with subpar, if not outright terrible, CB play on this team before we got Lattimore. He's still one of the best CBs in this league and our D wouldn't be nearly as good as it is without him.

2) Justin Jefferson is one of the, if not the, best WRs in the league at this point. He really is a special player. You can't get the kneejerk urge to call out Lattimore covering this guy.

Being good at your position - even the very best doesnt mean youre never beat.

Latt is one of the very best - would have been nice to have some help over the top there. It is what is, you win some you lose some.
