If they come here for the game we must treat them well because they REALLY got to love New Orleans as a city to follow a 1-12 team playing a Dennis Allen lead Saints team

I scrolled a long time on Seat Geek before I got to prices above $20 (without fees). I have never, ever seen that before.

As someone said in another thread, going to Nola is a destination for visiting fans. What other cities are people clamoring to go to? NY? Neither team is actually in the city, but it's an easy ride. Chicago? LA? Vegas? Miami?

I live in NJ and like to tell my friends that if they go see their teams, they go to North Jersey or Philadelphia. When I go to see my team, I go to [mod edit thinly veiled profanity- keep it family friendly] New Orleans.

They don't have a fan base that travels. It's possible they will have a number of fans at the game who are more local, but anybody who travels from the Charlotte area for this game is flat out crazy.

I hope Loomis and Benson see how low things have gotten. About 35-40+ years ago, when the team was having a bad season or a bad stretch of games, I used to sell some of our extra tickets by the Hyatt entrance for $20 a pair. I ALLWAYS was able to get $20 for two tickets. With 35-40 years of inflation, tickets going for $11 each represents a TOTAL collapse of the local fan base. By my rough estimation, there were about 30-35K Saints Fans at the last game. I would be surprised if we have 25K for this game. Season Ticket Sales will flat out crater next year if they don't draft Daniels. I'm not saying this as an LSU guy, just stating my opinion....my strongly felt opinion.

Why would fans travel for a 1-10 team. I mean that's dedication.

Like even I preplanned atrip to a road game. If my team sucked. I would cancel my trip or go there while never going to the game.
