Is it possible the Panthers' fans will try to take over Sunday? (2 Viewers)

My four tickets sold this morning. I’ll take what I can get and save myself the concessions, hotel, gas, headache, etc.

I don’t think there were a ton of actually Detroit fans last week in the superdome

A lot of those fans were actually saints fans cheering for the lions

I think it will be the same this week
You could see blue everywhere on the TV and they were everywhere in town. There were a lot of Detroit fans.

More likely IMO for obvious empty seat sections all over the Dome. I just don't see a multitude of Panther fans, New Orleans trip fun or not, traveling to see two woeful teams play!

I just got in from Australia (by way of Dallas) this morning. The only people wearing NFL gear on my flight in were Saints fans - maybe 10-15 of them. The city is pretty quiet this morning. I just went for a walk down Poydras to the Superdome and barely saw anyone, save for the families of the kids playing in all the high school football games scheduled this week.

At least I should be able to get a cheap ticket tomorrow. Let me know if anyone is around for a beer too!

My two Plaza tickets didn’t sell. Had them listed at $55. Just gave them away.

I think this is a sign the coach needs to change.
The fanbase knows when you’re rebuilding after a decade and a half run.
If they were rebuilding instead of kicking the can, that dome would still be full.
Not as expensive, but full.

They don't have a fan base that travels. It's possible they will have a number of fans at the game who are more local, but anybody who travels from the Charlotte area for this game is flat out crazy.

I hope Loomis and Benson see how low things have gotten. About 35-40+ years ago, when the team was having a bad season or a bad stretch of games, I used to sell some of our extra tickets by the Hyatt entrance for $20 a pair. I ALLWAYS was able to get $20 for two tickets. With 35-40 years of inflation, tickets going for $11 each represents a TOTAL collapse of the local fan base. By my rough estimation, there were about 30-35K Saints Fans at the last game. I would be surprised if we have 25K for this game. Season Ticket Sales will flat out crater next year if they don't draft Daniels. I'm not saying this as an LSU guy, just stating my opinion....my strongly felt opinion.
And many here claim the Saints have the best fans in the league. NOT!

Then they weren't really fans if they wanted the Saints to lose

Please, let's not make this one of those threads again. There are plenty others where you can go complain about what you feel is a fan.

You would be wrong. The number of folks in Lions jerseys rivaled the Bills contingent from the last time they visited, which was the largest visiting team crowd I've seen in the 40 years I've had season tickets.
