I would gladly give up our second round pick for Roy Williams. There is another thread where people are saying if DeSean Jackson dropped to us in the second it would be a steal. Wrong! Trading our second for Roy Williams would be a steal.

Jackson will get KILLED in the nfl at 168lbs! its the same weight he came to cal at so he either can't put on the weight or he gets lost going to the Gym.

Saints trade:
pick 1.10
next years 2 round pick that becomes a #1 if we resign Roy Williams OR Shaun Rogers.(vitually a lock so they get a #1)
Jason David (he fits there system and they need CBs so it makes alot of sense)
Lions trade:
Roy Williams
Shaun Rogers
pick1.15

Thank God you're not our GM. Give up our starting corner (I don't care how bad he did, he's still our starter as of right now), next year's first round pick, AND "see if they would take deuce"?!?!?
They are asking for a second round pick for Roy Williams. Just do that.
And why would we want to get rid of Deuce? He was productive in 2006 coming off an ACL tear the year before. He can be very productive this year as well.

The availability of wide receiver Roy Williams is also in hot debate with Jacksonville, Tennessee, Tampa Bay and New Orleans all interested. The Lions are looking for a second round pick and have told several clubs they would even consider a pick in next years' draft to get a deal done.

i'd send our second round pick to them in a heartbeat for Roy Williams. Especially if they accept next year's second round pick for him instead. I'd be Psyched, he's got blazing speed, good hands, and height. Brees would make him and Colston HOF. Ah imagine, double cover Roy= single coverage on Colston and vice versa, it'd be unstoppable.

Who is detroits power back? They don't have one, kevin jones is good but not a pounder. Why not trade or 2nd and Deuce for Roy and Shaun?

I'm sure with such a ridiculous (and inaccurate statement that you have something that shows the Saints are interested in ONLY these players?

If we could get Roy Williams we would have the best receiving group in the league. Roy Williams, Colston, Meachem, Reggie Bush(RB that can catch), and Patten.

I would trade a second in an instant.
