Does anyone else dread...?

My Christmas tree is easy. I pick it up fully lit and with ornaments, and carry it to the spare bedroom where it fits nicely into the closet. Taking down the trains takes a bit longer. Nowhere near as much fun as the alcohol-fueled setting up, but it's a New Years Day ritual.

edit: Oh and that step up into your other room looks like a face-plant waiting to happen :hihi:

You put your tree in a closet with the ornaments still remaining on its branches? Wow!

Does anyone else dread UNdecorating when Christmas season ends? Here is my work thus far today...

My tree is now bare. The lights are attached and it comes apart in 3

sections and then goes back in its original box 📦.

My Grandfather had a closet in the basement with three fully decorated Christmas trees in it. He had bags that were large enough to cover them so that they wouldn't get dusty. He had them like that for decades.
