Official game day thread: Saints @ Buccaneers 1/5/25

Sure, but Bowles just put the playoffs on the line to get Evans a record. If that pass gets tipped at the line and picked or just picked and returned for a TD with a 2 point conversion, they could have missed the playoffs. No point in calling that play if there is any risk of losing.
Well, he called it against us. It's like Bobby Knight looking down the court at Dale Brown. He wasn't worried about losing.

I wonder what Buddy Diliberto would have said to the OP. Maybe something like "hang on to your hard hats there's more to come'?

Carolina wins but their SOS went down so we stay at 9. Need the Raiders to win to get to 8

Nice knowing Failcons would have missed playoffs no matter outcome of our game.

Bryce Young been cooking them all day.
This may not bode well for us next year or when Penix is in his second year, but that's not like it's our only problems either.

I think rattler had some nice moments today though

He needs an actual offensive HC
He absolutely can improve. Better decision making with experience. Better accuracy with improved mechanics. Better execution with a healthy Oline and WRs. But he is far from the chosen one at this point.

Right because the Saints didn't tip a ball at the line that turned into a pick earlier in the game.
Well feel how ever you like about it call it dumb but if they really want to stop him from the record don't give the ball back

Well... he was playing against the SAINTS D. So, there's that.
