Probably actually the opposite. It will allow them to move on from Darnold and go with the rookie who they’ll have for 4 more years on a rookie deal and get to keep building their strong team

I agree to disagree. The mental aspect, like 28-3 did to the Failclowns, sticks with you. Makes you reach on draft day and free agency to get the taste of a game like this off your back.

They were always moving on from Darnold, imo, because they aren’t going to pay the price that he earned this season.

Playcalling has been bad, forcing Darnold to hold the ball at times when the Vikings o-line has been bad all night. They also can’t run the football tonight at all.

Play calling to me was fine. Donald just held the ball way too long. When he did throw it was inaccurate. No running game. Execution was just horrible.
