Ok that’s fair. I do the same when I have the time.About 3 days.
1 to roast bones and make stock.
1 to cook it all.
1 to chill in the fridge.

lol (Derek Sibley is the WDSU weatherman)
lol that occurred to me too.Someone, don’t know who, is going to look silly by Wednesday night.
Can you make it now so I can come get a plate?I'm thinking red beans and rice with andouille sausage
At least get out and build a snowman...The cancelled school for Tuesday, and if we get any accumulation Wednesday looks likely as well.
I ain't getting out in that sheet. I may not even get out of bed.

And never overestimate the sense of the public.People will go out no matter the situation. Hurricane, Sleetstorm , Tornado. Cabin fever is real.
Still waiting for my parish to call it for Tuesday and we're right in the middle of the forecasted snow. The cancelled school for Tuesday, and if we get any accumulation Wednesday looks likely as well.

Not in the BR area. Locals are still say short of 6" of accumulation. It finally looks like the snow forecast for south Louisiana is starting to moderate a bit. Two days ago nearly every weather outlet was predicting up to 5 inches of snow. Now they are all calling for a max accumulation of up to 3 inches. While there may be some isolated areas that get more snow, the real issue will be if the roads get icy. It sure won’t take much of that stuff to really make a mess of things.
No doubt most folks down here will get a light dusting of snow on top of the ice. And that will be nice as long as folks don’t try to drive around in it.
If so, hopefully it will be ALL snow. Not in the BR area. Locals are still say short of 6" of accumulation.
