Found this on the CDC WEBSITE.I picked up a prescription last night from CVS & the pharmacy asked me if I wanted to do my Hepatitis vaccine while I was there because I was overdue. I know this sounds insane but I don’t recall ever getting one or that they even existed. Am I tripping? Do I need this?
Yeah, I don't recall ever getting a hepatitis vaccine. I do remember having to get the tuberculosis vaccine (required) when I worked at the hospital but apart from that, the only vaccines I've gotten as an adult have been flu and covid.Found this on the CDC WEBSITE.
The hepatitis B vaccine became available in the United States in 1981. The vaccine was initially recommended for high-risk groups, such as healthcare workers, intravenous drug users, and people with multiple sexual partners. In 1991, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended that all infants receive the vaccine. A recombinant hepatitis B vaccine became available in 1986.
Those of us who are over 60 don’t need it.
Why are they bringing their sick children to the ER? They need to stay home and isolate with their home remedies and prayers. The first case of measles in Vermont in 2025 has been confirmed in a school-aged child in Lamoille county, the Vermontdepartment of healthreported on Tuesday.
The child became sick in recent days after returning with their family from traveling internationally and has been isolated from most community settings while they have been contagious, according to the department. There is believed to be a low risk to the public.
The positive test result came on 10 March. The only place that has been confirmed as a possible exposure site is Copley hospital in Morrisville, where the child was being evaluated the previous day.
Hospital staff have already contacted visitors who had been in the emergency department between 3.15pm and 6pm on Sunday, the department says.
The case is not related to the three ongoing domestic outbreaks of measles in the US, nor is it related to the current measles outbreak in Quebec, health officials confirmed.………

Yeh, the vaccine has "stuff" he doesn't trust. Now he doesn't have a child and that child was denied a life because he doesn't trust "stuff".I dont need to read it.. i already know that there are people who think the way that the quoted father thinks… if i read it i will get depressed and infuriated .

Yeah since I was not patient-facing, only TB was required. My wife recently started working at the hospital and had to get the tuberculosis vaccine.
I know my company has to offer all employees who have occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens, the Hep B vaccine. I think its an OSHA requirement for it to be offered to all employees, and if you don't want it, you have to sign a Declination.
Maybe his wife will feel differentlyI read it.
along with that, he deemed it "God's will"
I imagine that his brain has to rationalize the death of his daughter from a virus so easily avoided with a vaccine so as not to fully implode with guilt.
So, its "God's will". That's the ultimate reason- not vaccines, not his personal stance on vaccines nor his insane choice to put his child at risk because "he believes".
simply put- "not my fault"
That is what is truly amazing to me.
There's a tuberculosis outbreak in Kenya right now but I won't post it because the title is political. My wife recently started working at the hospital and had to get the tuberculosis vaccine.
