Makes sense, and if it’s true, then Carr would’ve rescended his no trade clause, and the public may have found out? Maybe that info is found out, but after a trade would happen.I'm sure what Carr wanted was the ability to sign a 3 or 4 years $40 million contract like Geno Smith is about to get. If he plays out his contract here, he's only guaranteed money this year because the Saints are going to cut him next year. If he wants long term stability for 3 or 4 years at good money, it is a benefit for him to be a free agent now or be traded with the guarantee of a new contract. Or it was before free agency started.
