Just a guess but I imagine receiver x duties can now be split between Cooks and Johnson. Say what you want about Cooks, he can take a hit and knows how to find holes in zone coverage.

Do people think anyone who lives in South LA is Cajun?.
I understand what you’re saying St I think at this point both CKM and Nuss are content to use a mix of what we have at TE to help in the run game as far as blocking. Bub Means is a decent size WR and if we draft Tet we will basically have the same size and speed at WR that Philly had.Kubiak and DA wanted to run the ball. Not so sure about Moore. And I don't think it's as important if you aren't running the Shanahan/Kubiak scheme. Obviously you want your WR to block in any scheme, but it's essential for the the Shanahan/Kubiak scheme.
Is there a Michael Thomas reunion in the works??? NEVER SAY NEVER.I was disappointed in his production here, but also didn't like him leaving. Even if I was hoping for more or expecting more, he was still good when he left. Glad hes back.
Siglar is on a never ending search to find anything negative he can about Carr and the Saints. I think I've read maybe 1 or 2 at the most remotely positive things from him. Like the old newspaper saying " If it bleeds it leads " In the world of internet reporting " Rips get clicks "Sigler, the young hippie critic is clearly a negative lightning rod for many. But he's independent of the team, free to read I believe without a USA Today sub, and for years has written detailed articles on Saints cap and asset issues.
Here, he's sharing the work of an Over The Cap contributor Nick Korte who is billed with a reputation for accurately tracking and predicting compensation picks.
Sigler's not ripping the Cooks signing, he's just saying the asset cost to the Saints for this signing includes the loss of a 7th rounder 2026 comp pick (nobody cares). More importantly, if the Saints sign another qualifying free agent, they'll likely surrender a 4th round comp pick in 2026.
So, non-crap market free agency may be over for the Saints in 2025, or if it's not, the Saints don't care about a 2026 4th rounder they may gain from the Adebo loss.
He's not being signed to be a 1,000 yard receiver. If he was, he'd have been paid about 4x as much. What are the odds a WR who hasn't had 1,000 yards in four years somehow rebounds? Minicule imo. Stupid signing.
Is 28 million the going rate for 1k yards???He's not being signed to be a 1,000 yard receiver. If he was, he'd have been paid about 4x as much.
I'm more worried about him coming off an injury than his production the last few years. He's here to be a #3.
We could have easily signed Becton. but I trust CKM , Nuss and Paganetii 3 guys that had an up close look at him last yr to say if he was worth itThis boggles my mind, much rather would have signed Becton and any other WR lol
Is there anyone on the Saints currently wearing the number 10? Will Cooks change his number? This is why I never throw jerseys away.
