This is sort of a gray zone here. It's definitely in the public interest, but based on the tweet, I'm going to have to lock this thread. There is no way this doesn't become overly political.

After consideration, I'm unlocking this thread. We'll see if anything interesting comes out of this release.

However, what I don't want to see is a bunch of partisan hack reactions (left or right) being posted.

Based on what I've read, it's a pretty unremarkable release. Nothing new. Nothing concrete. Nothing groundbreaking. Which is why no reactions.

So the theories live on.

I guess, but also there's a point at which it doesn't matter. Like if we found out there was a huge government cover up in the Lincoln assasination, it wouldn't matter because everyone's dead. At sone point the people with power today can expose the guilty of yesterday without repercussion and maybe even to some added goodwill.

I get that, but what if it points to something deeper or darker. Like some kind of untouchable section of the CIA that is known to those in power and used in cases they deem necessary. That's the sort of thing I'm talking about. If one of the 3 letter agencies was involved in this, it could have serious repercussions.

Yep, another batch just dropped. They did say it was going to take a few days. This one is about as big as the first release.
