15th Anniversary of the 2009 NFC Championship (5 Viewers)

all he says in his thread is that there was no bounty scandal and that he holds nothing against the saints and that he rooted for them to win after that game. he said it was his fault the team didn't win because he didn't make aenough plays. all sounds right to me.

This is what he said...there is no "there was no BountyGate" comment.

In fact, he says he holds no ill will towards those involved.

He could have easily chimed in to say just how competitive that game was. How hard the teams were playing and playing to win

He mentioned Bounty Gate. No one else. The whole posts were Saints fans remembering this day. He chimed in.

Eff that dude

The comments from Vikings fans were hilarious.
No matter what you think of the 2017-2020 playoff losses, the 09 NFCCG loss the Vikings had to the Saints hurts Minnesota the most.

And still, after 15 years, the Vikings are still complaining on how we won that game (along with the Super Bowl, 2 weeks later) due to Bountygate. Despite that they committed 4+ turnovers including the Brett Farve's infamous bonehead INT that sent the game to OT.

I've never had any other game physically exhaust me to the extent that one did, and all I was doing was watching TV
