How often does this happen to a team? having to play to play 2 games on a thursday night in a season?

No fan of TNF, but happy we are playing two weeks in a row, hopefully these are two very winnable games, then we have what is kinda a mini bye, like l say, no fan but could be worse

I'd assume it happens to Detroit and Dallas every year since they play thanksgiving every year and they would have their regular Thursday night game assuming every team had to have one. I'm just glad ours are back to back.

Back to back is very good for us. Home on the short week, which is better than away. Then away, but having a rest advantage the next two weeks. Assuming none of our opponents are coming off byes.

TNF actually works in OUR favor... THIS TIME

We have what now looks like a rather winnable game AT HOME vs the Eagles next week. Then we play ATL at HOME on a Thanksgiving Thursday Night. Home teams have the advantage on a short week. It's also worth mentioning that the Falcons just got made boys by the BROWNS.

The 2nd Thursday night game isn't on a short week as both us and the Cowboys play Thanksgiving Thursday so we'll both have a full 7 days off to rest and prepare. The cowboys looked better this week than they have in several weeks. They can get a little spunky, but that one also seems very winnable, even though it's on the road.

After the cowboys game, we get the only good thing that comes with a TNF game... a week and a half off before our next game (mini-bye week). Which will bring us to the 4th quarter of our season. (@TB, @CAR, vsPIT, vs CAR)

Then it's a week off while we wait for the wild card teams to sort out who comes to New Orleans to collect their butt whoopin.... but maybe I'm getting a little ahead of myself???

Not a big deal as far as the Thursday night games. Feeling good about the rest of the schedule though?
