Which says a lot about Max's skills because his tires looked beyond done compared to Lewis' when they pulled up to the podium. Red Bull has been killing Mercedes with their strategic calls all season.

Well, that traffic didn't help Hamilton either because that dirty air affected both of them. Hamilton had better pace than Max, but just got too far behind and would have needed a mistake from Max to catch him.

What helped seal the deal for Max was that they gave him DRS on a pass and, some how, Lewis missed out. Lewis pulled within 1 sec of Max at the same time Max was within 1 sec of the traffic.
