2023 offseason: WR Tet McMillan said its hard for him to watch film and doesn’t watch film by himself

Give me Savion Williams for X/Playmaker.

We have Harris on the roster with Means.

Higgins is more of a Big Z and I'd rather Dant'e Thornton later in the draft for a Big Z or the guy out of Nebraska for a Big Z.

Knowing the Saints’ recent 1st round draft history in ‘18-‘22, we don’t want to see them potentially blow a top 10 pick on another Charles Rogers. Chasing good college tape and traits at WR, but never getting back a top 10 pick level return as a pro because he potentially doesn’t study the game to become a star.

At minimum, Tet has poor awareness to give those answers to a random person on the most important duty of a pro player. He seemed to have doubled down with conviction in the responses about not studying film.
I mean yea it's a bad look but maybe some of these takes are a little much. Wouldn't take him in the second? I meeeeean

To my knowledge he doesn't have a bad reputation with regards to work ethic, no off the field issues. If this is all we're going by, player thinks watching film sucks, maybe scratching him off as a potential pick at 9 is going a little too far.

Before this, he was already being looked at as a mid to late first guy by nearly all teams. I believe it was Daniel Jeremiah reporting that on a video I watched last week. Said he didn’t know of any teams that had him above maybe 13th. Mentioned that sometimes these players get hyped up in the media to a high draft position, but it doesn’t always align with how teams actually view said player. I personally never saw him as a top 10 guy, but I know a lot of members here love him there at 9.

Definitely not the only NFL player that doesn’t watch football. Some guys are just very good at the game but don’t care much for the fan part of it. Probably should have kept the film watching bit to himself though.
Issue is pair this with what Underhill said how he’s watched tons of film and there’s effort issues. It’s not a good look for the potential 2nd receiver taken in the draft.

Yes, the industry has been dropping hints that he's not as high as some people think he is. He has a lot of flaws in his game for someone who is built like a Big X, but might not even be able to play the position in the NFL.
