Jim Schlossnagle, who guided Texas A&M to the finals of the Men's College World Series, is leaving to become the new baseball coach at Texas, a source told ESPN.

Yeah. The response he gave the reporter (apologies for not knowing the reporter’s name) was just insulting. Add to that that UT, being a public institution could never vet the coaching candidate that quickly, leads me to believe that this was a done deal prior to TAMU losing in the CWS.
