Because they not addressing a need while a few of the players who can be difference makers immediately are still there. Receiving core is very much lacking although I do like shaheed and Olave. Corner was not lacking as bad provided you don’t trade Lattimore for peanuts.

Most Big Boards had Kool-aid in the 22-30 range and the CB4 or CB5. Kool-aid fills in if Lattimore is traded or if we can't afford to sign Adebo.

It think the run on DT and DeJean pick forced our hand for a move up. Kool-aid was the #1 player on the board at the time. He was probably 2 full bubbles (tier of 5-6 players) above the group we would have been picking at 45. Maybe a LB was a consideration.
