New mock draft story by me. This time, it's two rounds for all 32 teams.

At No. 9, we’ve got the Saints landing Arizona’s Tetairoa “Tet” McMillan—a 6’5” beast with 1,319 yards in 2024. Is he the deep threat Derek Carr needs to take the Saints back to the playoffs? Or should we trade up for a quarterback to replace Carr in the long term? Enjoy!!

I like these two picks. 2 potential starters year 1.

Watching his film a good comp is a 6'5 version of Miles Austin instead of 6'2. Fluidity of there movement skills is similiar. Should be a solid pro. Team is lacking a physical pass catcher. If Warren not there and he is i think he should be the pick.

I hope we don’t pass on Graham to reach for a receiver.
If Graham is on the board there is 0% chance we would take Tet over him. Like negative 0 chance. Graham would be the pick in a heart beat. Happy to take any wagers on this.

No way we pass on Graham for McMillan. I understand a lot of people love the 6'5 WR, but he's over hyped in a big way. I think its likely he'll be good, but its not a sure thing. People are hyping him up almost as if he's the next Calvin Johnson and I find it more likely that he's the next Mike Williams.

Very few people in this world know WR's better than Steve Smith, and Smith kind of put a reality check on him. His comment around Tet not being able to run a full route tree really shed some light and would explain quite a bit of why he didn't utterly dominate the lesser competition that he constantly faced. He also made his money mostly running slants. Andrew Armstrong finished with only around 180 less yards and faced way better defenses. Armstrong was dominate on hitch routes which requires an excellent break, but also displayed the full route tree. Just for comparison, Reggie Wayne was also excellent in his hitch routes and curls (both were his bread and butter because of his break).

I'm just really confused about the hype, something feels off.
