Hicks is really good in run support. One of the best in this class. And his coverage skills are good also.

I’m with you on the other positions but DL we need to stay away from for one draft. Too much effing up and not letting players develop

The little digging I’ve done into safeties in this draft, I think the position is pretty weak.

I really like Kam Kinchens day 2, but he’d be the highest graded safety in the class for me and I still think early 2nd might be a reach.

Really hard to tell what they’re thinking with this pick. Everyone says offensive and defensive lines but I think the approach is not as simple as people think.

This pick might get traded if they move up for Jayden Daniels.

There’s not much value here at either offensive or defensive line.

Wide receiver will also be thinned out but there’s more to choose from than the other mentioned positions.

Linebacker could be an option if Cooper is available. But I wouldn’t put him at 55% More like 21%

No that’s not the point. Being right is not the point. I’m trying to speculate what the team will do with pick 45 given the team needs, talent and value, and the team’s history.

I don’t care about being right.

I didn’t see Jordan Howden or Alontae Taylor on the horizon. We’ve made some surprising picks that have worked out. So I’m trying to imagine what they would look for if they are going to want a replacement for Maye and a fill in for Mathieu.

Hicks plays really well on three levels of defense where we will need him to defend the run and pass. It’s better to bring a guy like that in than a linebacker who won’t get much playing time because we spend more time in nickel.

If they feel they can get a guy like that in the 5th round then of course they will go for a more premium position player.
