I just started up the green egg and going to throw on some baby backs, sausage and dogs. What’s everyone else doing?

The grocery store had pork loins on sale at buy 1 and get another for a penny. Just can't pass that up! Got one marinating in a barbecue sauce and going to make some mashed taters with gravy and corn. Watermelon daiquiris for desert.

Picking up some OT on a holiday.....gonna miss the BBQ, but replenish the checking account!

Smash burgers on the flat top. I'd usually grill but it's hot and I wanted to be able to cook quickly. Plus I've been getting pretty good at these.

Picnic on the beach. Dogs, brats and sides. Maybe a cold Bud heavy.

Doing a seafood boil at home with snow crab, shrimp, potatoes and corn....zatarans liquid and powder.....

BBQ burgers, chicken n dogs for the kids. Potato salad, baked beans.

Then at 830 a firework tribute for my friend and neighbor who suddenly passed 3 weeks ago. Brooklyn kid who rose the ranks of Seafarers union and lived for 4th of July ( his firework budget was immense ) The most patriotic Italian I've ever known. Salut Nick.
