A.T Perry Article (1 Viewer)

If hes correct.. we just got a steal. Off how no one else really ranks him that high.
The overwhelming consensus when I scanned the draft projections was a third round pick. Some late second and some in the fourth. For what it’s worth, Kiper, Jr had him projected to go to the Saints in the third…with pick 71. We got him at pick 195.

Kinda surprised Payton traded instead of nabbing him for the Broncos, but they have a pretty good WR room.

I have high hopes for Perry. Love the move to get him.

Payton's just waiting for the Saints to release TQS so he can continue to put together the team he left.

Payton drafted a WR in the second round. He now has Sutton, Jeudy, and now Mims(2nd round). He probably wants his 4-6 guys for blocking and special teams. He probably values a blocking TE more than a receiver at that point.

I'm wondering if at 6'4", 205 lbs, if he fills out some, might he be the answer at TE we've been looking for?

Article had a lot of exaggeration in it he is 6'3.5" and 198. He is depth at the X behind Michael Thomas and maybe the future starter.

He just needs to work on his technique, footwork and focus. Amd put on 10-20 pounds

Juwan’s already the answer at TE, given his big season without a legit QB and the team felt comfortable moving his backup/the original drafted starter.

I don’t think we’re converting every 6’4 WR that we pick up. We’re going in the direction of bigger WRs ever since we signed Bryan Edwards before the draft.
