Aaron Rodgers- are you kidding me? (2 Viewers)

Forget all the JETS wont make playoffs stuff.

This guy TORE his achilles just 2.5 months ago and is already on practice field. Its insane to me. I did this in 2015. By 2.5 months i was picking up marbles with my toes. Hardly bouncing around football practice throwing.
You forgot to meditate and do the magic mushrooms.

Let’s just say that happens. Can a player win comeback player of the year if they had an injury like his and returns for a playoff run?
only if he wins the super bowl

90% of SR can't pickup marbles with their fingers. Be proud of your accomplishments ;)

I am not sure what kind of achilles "injury" he sustained that reportedly received surgery two days later, but I think it's safe to say it was not likely a true achilles tendon rupture if he is able to perform high impact activities at 3 months.

saw the video
saw the shock wave

MAYBE partial tear- but i gotta think it was a full tear.

I think im more invested in his physiology that would allow this sort of healing process - obviously everyone is different. From recovery to medication in regards to how their body responds. I think its fascinating to think that someone tears their achilles and in 2.5 months is cleared for some activity.

Shoot i went skiing 10 months after mine and i was FREAKED OUT to the point that i called my doc to make sure i was "good to go" - i think a lot is mental too. If he has willed himself to believe its fully healed and ready for increasing workload, thats the main part ( if cleared by docs )

Side note- mine ALMOST healed on own. Had i not had a "deformation" during the healing process, its most likely i would have avoided surgery.

The other thing i think about is i also imploded my left ACL. But scar tissue "wrapped" around the ACL, pushing it back together and providing a protective "sleeve" which allowed me to avoid surgery. Doc said it happens to 1 in 1000 but it does happen. Its not as strong as a new ligament, but if im not moving laterally in overly physical sport, im good.

I am not a fan of Rodgers. But i am a fan of stuff like this and think its all really fascinating.

It will take a second miracle for him to play, because he said he won’t risk playing unless they are in playoff contention.
That’s crazy because just recently he said he was coming back regardless of their position in regards to the playoffs, which I thought was a crazy thought process.

Ever see the movie "the island"?

You think they made all that up just to put Scarlett Johansson in a white jumpsuit?

There's a legless Aaron Rodgers clone getting incinerated as we speak
