Stecker is gone. IMO, stecker is almost equivalent to peirre thomas, though stecker is probably a better run blocker. Patten, I just don't know why we didn't sign him. Either he is contemplating retiring or he is asking for too much money.

I doubt Patten will see many takers since he's old, he hasn't had a real good season in years, and he doesn't play special teams. Stecker I can see leaving for more PT where he's the #2 RB. I think we will look elsewhere for a WR and if we don't find one, we'll go after Patten.

i love patten's role as veteran/mentor.
also agree with an earlier poster. we'll get his deal done when the dust settles.
