Rumor Aaron Taylor-Johnson rumored to become the next James Bond

This actually seems like it would be pretty cool. Bond is a character from an earlier era and while I thought Craig did a great job playing a more modern version of Bond, there was clear tension for the character in a very different modern world. The character seemed restrained by having to force a character from the 50s and 60s into the modern world.

So, I think seeing that 50s and 60s vibe with better cameras could be really cool if done right. That and seeing a bunch of vintage Aston Martins will be sweet. Amazon being in charge is a bit worrying, but when they get it right they do a great job. They have certainly been willing to invest the money over the years.
I remember James Bond being describes a "relic from another time" during the Brosnan run (may go back further than that) and as our time continued to change Bond seemed more and more out of step

Solution?

Put Bond back in his time

It may end up being a perfect solution

That report is from The Sun, arguably the most hilariously untruthful of all UK tabloids, so there's a very high likelihood they just made every bit of that up.

FWIW, the Mirror and The Telegraph are reporting the same things, but that probably doesn't make it any more reliable.

Ture, but the source was a podcast I've never heard of. Has anyone looked into that podcast and is it reliable?

It's just hearsay from Daniel Mays, who is a journeyman British TV actor. The Sun ran with it and added their own "sources" to fill the story out.

Like I said, I actually hope it's true.
