Analysis After Further Review: These ARE your Grandfather’s Saints (1 Viewer)

You need at least a decade to really get to that era.

Sadly, 1-4 over the last 5 games is a pretty good start!!!!!

I'm one of those grandfathers and I remember going to Saints games at Tulane Stadium with my uncle and cousin. My uncle always had tickets because
people he knew gave them to him for nothing. Everybody knew the outcome yet they were there shouting "Go Saints Go". We showed up to see losers
but they were our losers, our NFL team and we were amazed just to see them get a first down once in a while.

Same here (except the grandfather part, I can wait a bit longer on that one)....Saw AM and the Saints beat the Skins 19-3 and in the same season beat the Bills 13-3 (holding OJ to his lowest output 80 something yards in his 2000 yard season).....went to the right games that year for sure....

Had season tix for the 1-15 season. After 7 games this year I'll be ecstatic if they just beat the Falcons.....

Matt Moscona really nails exactly how I feel about the current Saints team and situation. This is exactly how I felt pre 2006.

I agree with everything he said, but it appears the Saints are going to stay on the path their on, and follow Dennis Allen’s mantra of “keep doing what you’re doing”

If 🤞 the Saints do blow this coaching staff up after the season, and bring in a young offensive minded HC… who are some prospects you believe could the next Russell Wilson, or Dak Prescott type of 2nd round pick or later QB that you can build a team around?

Bo Nix, Oregon
Riley Leonard, Duke
Jayden Daniels, LSU
Quinn Ewers, Texas
Jordan Travis, FSU
JJ McCarthy, Michigan

Any of those guys up to the task?

No matter what, it’s going to be a long couple of years before things even have a chance of Turing around.

100% spot on! Matt is really good. Sean and Drew changed that. I always expected us to win with them.

We are stuck until we get rid of DA, PC and Carr and need a QB. The next 2-3 years are ugly.

Yep, some people take it for granted that we will always have a franchise. I’ll be there supporting them as long as I can.
